9:00 AM Group meeting, equipment check, shuttle to the launch point, canoe introduction, move to our first camping site, dinner, and evening around the fire
August 4 to 6
Daily travel to our camping site, days alternating between swimming, canoeing, relaxation, and group activities
August 7
Canoe travel to the river exit, closing activity, end of activities scheduled around 3 PM
The Normandin River is a gem of the Ashuapmushuan Wildlife Reserve, flowing into the river of the same name. Its route alternating between lakes and rapids allows you to familiarize yourself with your boat and offers interesting challenges for both beginners and intermediate paddlers.
